The European Business Academy in Decin has a long tradition. The school was founded in 1945 and today it provides a complete secondary vocational education ending with a Maturita exam. Graduates of the Business Academy are preparing to enter the labour market or to study at universities or higher vocational schools.

The school underwent a general reconstruction in 2009-2011 and is one of the most modern schools in the Ústí nad Labem Region. The building has barrier-free access to all classrooms. Staff, pupils and visitors can use the lift if necessary.

The best furnished rooms are the attic, the project management classroom and the ICT classrooms. Most of the classrooms have new furniture. A library with specialist literature and fiction is available to pupils and teachers throughout the day. Students may use the copier/printer/scanner in the library and in the hallway near the library. A total of 13 classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards, while the remaining classrooms have screens and data projectors. These devices are used not only by the teachers, but of course also by the students in the teaching of most subjects. The interactive whiteboards enable us to use modern digital textbooks to an increasing extent, which pupils can also access during any distance learning. As part of the overall renovation, a brand new gymnasium was added and its facilities were built.
